Sometimes I forget what a beautiful country we live in, I've made it my mission this year to try and travel to as many beautiful places we can. One of my favourite things is fresh flowers, both of the places we visited on this post were fields full of the most gorgeous flowers.

The first place we visited was the gorgeous Real Flower Petal Confetti Company. I'd seen this place advertised last year and never got a chance to visit. It only opens for a few weeks a year before they harvest all of the flowers for confetti. The moment you step into the field your surrounded with a sea of gorgeous coloured flowers as far as you can see. It's very inexpensive to visit only £2.50 person and Eva was free. There are paths marked out and they really ask that you don't walk into the flowers as it ruins so many. Theres a tower at the end you can climb and get a great birds eye view of the field. You can get a huge bunch of the flowers for only £5 and mine lasted for weeks and I managed to save a huge pot of confetti. The only downside was it was really busy, we went on a gorgeous summers Saturday so I wasn't surprised, I might try and sneak off on a week day next year.

The second spot we visited was PYO sunflowers out in Kineton, Warwick. We had picked strawberries a couple of weeks before and I came across this sweet place through a friend on Instagram. This was a completely different experience to the confetti flower farm, this had a much more local feel to it, there were only a handful of people there and the owner was there to chat to and give tips. It was free to enter and no obligation to buy any sunflowers, but at only 50p a flower how could you resist. There was a table set up with a tin of secetures, gardening gloves and an honesty box. There was a much more relaxed feel, you could walk through all of the flowers and get right in to pick your favourites. Noah was really hands on with cutting our sunflowers and they both commented on how much fun it was. We spent over an hour walking around and talking, looking at the bee's and making memories I will treasure forever.

Make sure you add these places to your list for next year. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed.
