We've been married for 8 months now and it wasn't until we were reminiscing on our honeymoon that I remembered we had a pre-wedding shoot at our beautiful venue a few months before the big day.

There were so many reasons why we decided to go with Hayley for our wedding photography, the main three were...I'm not hugely confident in front of the camera, I feel awkward and shy. I explained all of this to Hayley when we booked with her and even before she got her camera out she made me feel at ease. Secondly my children were going to be a huge part of my day and any parent knows the difficulty of photographing children. I didn't want to feel like they were being a pain or made to feel like they were getting in the way, Hayley was so warm and welcoming to the children and not once did I get the impression they were a nuisance to her. Lastly apart from outside the church I didn't want any forced fake photos of the wedding day. My favourite photos are natural candid photos where people genuinely look happy, so when Hayley recommended these before we even brought it up it felt like a perfect match.

We didn't want to go with cheesy matching outfits for the children but still wanted something that would be great to see in photos for years to come, we decided to use our Magnificent Stanley tops and I'm so glad we did. You can check out her fab designs here.

Our pre-wedding shoot was like any other event we plan the start was wonderful the sun was shining, the children were playing ball, then the children left and we had some time to get comfortable in front of the camera and see what worked for us. Then as if like clockwork just as we had finished the last photos the heavens opened and we got trapped in the barn whilst the 40 minute thunderstorm took place. I almost feel like rain brings us luck, all of our big events have consisted of some rain.

I've picked a couple of my favourite photos from the shoot, hope you enjoy.

You can check Hayley's page and other work out here.

Look how completely handsome my husband is..!!!

I'm excited to start The Siblings Project on my blog. I take so many photos of the children and sometimes I don't have anywhere to put them so having a space on the blog to put them is just perfect. Taking pictures of them each month will be a lovely way to watch them grow and see their relationship continue to develop.

I've been asked a few times how I found the age gap between the children and if i wished I would have them close together. Having a 4 year age gap was never a concern for us, we were able to give Noah sole attention for such a long time and when Eva came along he was at a great age to adjust to sharing us.

What I never expected was the relationship they have developed. Eva is absolutely obsessed with Noah. She thinks he's the bees knees and is in complete ore of everything he does. Noah is his most patient when he's with her, he loves her joining in with him and will go out of his way to involve her. They just have fun, good old fashion giggly fun. There's no sibling rivalry, or bickering.
Being a mum of two is sometimes a struggle, but seeing them together gives me the biggest sense of satisfaction. I hope they will always be this close.

I've been tagged a few times on Instagram to do 20 facts about me and I said if I got tagged more than 5 times I would do them...so here they are and I've discovered I'm really not a very exciting person.
1. I'm 27 years old.
2. I had my first child just after my 21st birthday and my second when I was 25.
3. I met my husband at Sainsbury's when I was 19 and pretty much stalked him until he asked me out.
4. The first time I met Jays parents I was extremely drunk and had been sick in their local pub...ooops!
5. I have a huge desire to help people but cannot figure out which career would suit me best to do that.
6. I suffer from Dermatillomania, a condition which means I can't help but pick my skin, It was a massive relief to see it was a real condition and I'm taking steps to try and keep it under control.
7. My favourite animal is a Manatee, I fell in love with them when I first saw them at Disney World Florida.
8. I drink way to much tea, no matter the weather it's the only drink I ordinarily have...apart from Prosecco of course.
9. I love watching programs about killers I find it so interesting, Born to Kill is my favourite. My husband hates it so I have to watch them when he's out.
10. I have the worst memory and its my biggest flaw. I get so upset when I forget an occasion.
11. I would love to get a degree, once the children are both at school full time I'm going to embark on a new education adventure.

13. I go through candles like nobodies business, and my favourite scents are vanilla based.
14. I do way to many personality tests online.
15. I was obsessed with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. I owned every film, book, make up item and clothing they ever made. I made my mum and Dad drive me to Asda in High Wycombe so I could stock up with my Birthday money.
16. I'm a Virgo and everything ever written about them sums me up completely.
17. I have two tattoos, I dislike them both and one day will get them covered.
18. I LOVE spicy food the hotter the better. My father in law loves this about me.
19. My big brother is my hero, he makes me so proud with the way he lives his life and all of the incredible things he achieves.
20. I was made to be a Mama, they are my whole world. They will always be my proudest achievement and everything I do is to make sure they have the best childhood imaginable.

It might have taken seven months longer than we originally planned, but we've finally had our dream honeymoon. Jay was the one who actually went and booked it, after months and months of not being able to decide on where to go, how many hours of flying I could handle away from the children and how many days was too many he took charge and honestly I'm so glad I did. He booked the sensational Centara Ras Fushi in the Maldives. It was honestly like heaven on earth and exceeded every expectation I ever had.

We flew into Male airport, which was similar to flying into Venice. Instead of taxi ranks you have sea boats lined up ready to take you to your island. We got escorted to our speed boat  where our luggage had been loaded and enjoyed a beautiful 25 minute ride to Girraavaru Island.
The moment we set foot onto the island we fell in love with the crystal water, blue skies and white sandy beaches. We were welcomed by 5 members of staff who took our bags and escorted us to the reception area where we were given cool towel, a mocktail and then a tour of the island and all the information we would need for our stay.
We had seven nights staying in one of their Premium Deluxe Spa Water Villa's. That by it's self was incredible, we were quite a walk from the main island but our villa was right over a beautiful part of the reef. We had a private sun deck with a Jacuzzi, sun loungers, over water catamaran net and private steps into the sea. We were greeted with Champagne and chocolates when arrived which was such a thoughtful touch.
The island itself was very small, you could walk around all the way around in about 10 minutes. This was not a problem in any way, the island had four restaurants and three bars, a good size swimming pool and the sea life was exceptional. We spent a lot of our time at the Viu bar which had incredible views across the ocean and a viewing hole where you could watch the sea life below and snorkelling we came across a huge array of tropical fish, squid, sting rays and black tip sharks, every time you entered the water you saw something completely different.

The sunsets were mesmerising every day, you had to stop what you were doing to just sit and embrace them.
Everything about the stay was completely amazing, the staff were the friendliest people we've met and nothing was to much for them, the food was delicious and the snorkelling changed my life. My favourite part of the whole trip was spending real time with my husband. We live such fast pace lives that sometimes we forget all the reasons we love a person, it took about 5 minutes and it all came flooding back. Gosh what a wonderful man he is. (sorry got a bit mushy there)
The memories we created on that island will stay with us for the rest of our lives and I couldn't of asked for anything more.
