If you've read previous some of my previous posts you'll know I love to fill out and read other bloggers tags. This one is all about beauty, hope you enjoy reading my answers.

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
I have naturally straight, very fine hair.

2. What is your natural hair colour?
I think its a mousy brown but I have been dying it since I was 13 so I don't really know anymore.

3. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I dye it myself as I've opted to go darker and don't see any need for a salon to do it.

4. How often do you wash your hair?
I've managed to train my hair to last for 2 days but I need the help of dry shampoo for it not to look greasy...the joys of having fine hair!

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
I find for ease I wear it up a lot, having a demanding 3 year old sometimes limits my getting ready time.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
As I'm a qualified beauty therapist, I have the kit so I do my own.

7. How often do you change your nail polish?
When I start to see it chip I'll take it off and re-do or pick a different colour.

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer?
My toes are always painted, I feel incomplete if they're not.

9. How long does it take to put on your makeup?
I've mastered the weekday morning make up and it only takes me a maximum of 15 minutes, the superpowers you develop when you become a mummy.

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I always do my face, I see a lot of my favourite youtubers do their eyes first but I don't have the time to sit and spend ages on my eyes so I normally just add a coat of mascara during the week.

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
Since I started my blog and really got into reading other peoples blogs I realised I have become a collector.

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Not that often, I wear them on nights out to give me that extra glam factor.

13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?
I wear foundation or at least a BB cream  everyday, suffering with acne I wouldn't have the confidence to leave the house without it. If I'm at home and sure I wont get any visitors I'll try and wear just powder.

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?
I try not to, if I'm having a really insecure day I will.

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Never! When I finally sort my skin I will start to.

16. How many high end products do you have?
Um I honestly don't know 10+

17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?
I wash mine weekly.

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
I normally decide whilst I'm getting dressed but if it's for an occasion I'll plan it at least a week before.

19. How often do you change your handbag?
I haven't changed my handbag since my birthday my lovely boys brought me a Michael Kors bag and purse for my birthday, none of my other bags live up to it now.

20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?
I don't go to sleep until 11 normally but I've been trying to aim for 10 as I'm always so tired at the moment. Unfortunately I don't have a choice on my wake up time, Noah has full control so it's whenever he decides and at the moment he likes to wake up between 6&7, so I'm a very sleepy mama.

21. How often & when do you workout?
I have been trying to fit more exercise into my daily routine, I feel the difference after only a couple of times and then things happen and I realise I have let it slip...it's a work in progress.

22. Left-handed or Right-handed?
Right-handed

23. How tall are you?
5ft.5

24. Do you speak a foreign language?
Nope, I would really love to learn one.

25. How many pets do you have?
We don't have any in our house, a crazy 3 year old is enough ;)

26. How often are you on Blogger?
I'm on blogger everyday checking comments etc and I try and post at least twice a week.

27. Do you read the comments posted on blogs?
I do, I find that questions I have, would have normally been answered already so it saves me time.

28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
I write a list in my blogger book...it just keeps growing!

29. How did you come up with your blog name?
It's just my name, as my blog is about me, my family and my love for beauty I thought it fitted perfectly.

30. What kind of camera do you use for photographs?
I mostly use my phone for ease, but I recently got the Nikon 1 so I'll be using that more.

31. How often do you clean your house? (Daily, weekly, other)
I'm cleaning everyday, whether its hoovering or cleaning the bathrooms. I'm a bit of a clean freak.

32. What is your favourite colour?
I'm your typical girly girl I love pink

33. What is your favorite beauty/fashion magazine?
I used to buy a lot of magazines, but I prefer to just read reviews and blogs online. Real people interest me a lot more than stories in a magazine.

34. Do you swear?
More than I should....

35. What are you doing with the rest of your day?
I'm on my break at work, so I'll finish at 5 and then go and spend the evening with my boys.

I tag everyone to do this post, leave a link below so I can check out everyone's answers.

As a busy working Mum, I sometimes find it hard to keep up with my beloved beauty routine so when something is invented to make my life easier I get pretty excited. I love pretty nails its something that makes me feel a whole lot better about myself, but having shellac and regular manicures really takes a chunk out of your monthly pay.

Enter SensatioNail. Advertised as 2 weeks of dazzling, damage-proof wear, super gloss shine, no dry time and professional salon quality nails at home.

The starter kit comes with everything you need to carry out up to 10 complete at home gel manicures. It includes a Pro3060 LED lamp, primer, cleanser, clear base/top coat, colour polish, lint free wipes, buffer file and an orange stick.

The instructions are really clear and the method is super simple.
  1. Clean nails of all nail polish and debris with acetone, then wipe off with cleanser and lint-free wipe.
  2. Apply primer around all the edges of nail.
  3. Apply one THIN coat of clear base/top coat making sure you cap the tip of the nail and cure for 30 seconds (until the beep) in the LED lamp.
  4. Apply one THIN coat of colour gel capping at the tip and cure for 60 seconds (until light turns off).  Repeat with a second coat.
  5. Apply one THIN coat of clear base/top coat and cure for 30 seconds.
  6. Wipe off the tacky layer that's left after curing final coat with cleanser and lint-free wipe.
I did the manicure in about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad considering it was my first time using the kit and having to wait for one hand to cure before I could paint the other. The results are pretty fabulous, you're left with a high shine, even finish. I used the colour Pink Chiffon as I had a busy week at work so it was the most professional colour I had. It was such a lovey light pink and covered my nails beautifully.
As I said this was my first time using the system so it was a learning curve for me. These are my top tips for application:
  • Do you're thumbs separately, although you can fit them all in it means that they will be properly cured and makes it a lot easier to lay your fingers flat.
  • If you get any of the polish on your fingers or cuticles, remove before you cure with an orange stick.
  • Only apply a thin layer at a time, the polish will run and will not cure properly whilst in the lamp decreasing your wear time.
  • Make sure you cap the tip of the nail this will make sure the finish lasts as long.
  • Applying the primer around the edges of your nail is essential, it makes the colour last for longer and makes removal so much easier.
  • Removing the product correctly is very important, try not to peel the product off as this will damage your nails and make them brittle in the future. I find soaking small cotton balls in acetone putting on each nail and cover with foil makes the polish come off with ease.
The kits come in 4 colours Raspberry wine, Pink Chiffon, Scarlet Red and French Manicure. Along with that they have over 65 colours you can choose from including glitter, which retail at £15.00 at Boots and £12.50 directly from their website. They also have a range of nail art pens and extra accessories.
It's taken me a while to do this review but I didn't want to say how I felt after two days as I wouldn't have been giving you an accurate review of the product. Over all I was really impressed with the length my nails stayed on. I deleted my 12 day picture :( but there were no chips or peeling, just a nice white gap at the top where my nails had grown out. The product doesn't feel bulky and has a long lasting high gloss shine.

For only £69.99 I think this product is totally worth the money its a great investment which will save you so much money in the long run. You can have salon quality nails in the comfort of your own home at a fraction of the cost. Another bonus Boots has the Scarlet Red starter kit for only £45.00 which is a massive saving, you can see that here.

A big thank you to SensatioNail for letting me try this product out and review for all my readers.

Have any of you tried the SensatioNail?

Is it me or does every other Mum out there end up buying something for their little ones instead of for themselves when out shopping? I found myself doing this again when I went for a browse in my local Lush. I love going in there the staff are so chatty and helpful and I don't find them ever pressuring me to buy something. I was causally browsing the bath bomb section looking for a treat for my Mum when I came across this little blue robot. Now as ignorant as this is I never even considered Lush did children's products so when I saw this on the shelf I was instantly intrigued. Noah was with me so when he saw it and I explained how to use it he wanted it straight away and at only £1.95 I got it for him.

Lush claims: A gentle lavender bath bomb to relax children before bedtime. This is a bath bomb designed to look after young children’s delicate skin, and is so gentle it’s suitable for babies over six months. Its aromatherapy oils also work to soothe irritable cherubs before bedtime. Lavender is a calming aromatherapy oil, used in traditional medicine to treat skin irritations, sunburn and insect bites.

One of the first things I loved about Lush was that they don't carry out any animal testing, that's one of the first things I look for when buying beauty supplies. The bath bomb is blue and shaped as a robot so anyone with a little boy or girl will know how well this will go down.
Noah loved how involved he could be with the whole process from taking it out of the bag to putting into the running bath and watching it change. It has a good fizz which produces a dark blue ring whilst its fizzing. Noah loved how involved his Daddy was in the process, they were both walking around like robots whilst the bath was running.
Then end result is a light blue bath which smells amazing. His skin was left silky smooth and he had a big smile on his face after having a 'robot' bath. I can't say I saw the effects of the lavender, I didn't see him anymore relaxed but what three year old wants to go to bed anyway?

Overall I think its a great treat for your little one or as a present for a child.
