I've been a bit MIA from my blog recently and all for good reason, I've been focusing on my family, especially my mum. She's had a health scare which has rocked our little world. I can happily say its all over and she's completely fine but it always makes you think how short and extremely precious life is. This made Mothers Day extra special. My mum is the most patient, generous and kind hearted lady I have ever met. She goes out of her way to do things for you and is the best Nanny my little boy could ever wish for.

Another amazing year has gone by and oh how quickly it has. It's true what they say you never really start living until you have children. You see the beauty in things you wouldn't have looked twice at before, find a new sense of happiness in watching their little faces light up and experience a love you never thought was possible. Being Noah's mummy is the most rewarding thing I do, he's really turning out to be a beautiful, well mannered and hilarious little dude. I am so blessed.

I got treated to a very special Mothers Day this year. I was woken up by a very excited three year old carrying a bundle of gifts which included make up, a special story book, DVD and a huge candle. Once we had lots of snuggles in bed we got up got ready and headed of to Cheddar Gorge. I absolutely love it there its such a beautiful place to visit full of quirky cafes and shops, handmade fudge and cheese and ice cream to die for. We got to watch them making cheese and sweets from scratch. We were so lucky with the weather this year 20 degree heat all day. Once we had finished at Cheddar we went over to Weston-Super-Mare to have some beach time. We walked down the pier, made sandcastles on the beach and had delicious fish and chips at Winstons. The best bit of my day was watching my boys playing on the beach knowing that these two gorgeous people belong to me. (sorry for the mushy overload!)

Here's some pictures from our beautiful day!
Hope all the wonderful Mum's I know and read my blog had a very special day.
